Dry January /2018.

Could you do with help and support with your New Year’s resolution?

"Dry January" is becoming an annual event for many people, a way to Detoxify after festive indulgence and restore health and well being. However it can be difficult - if the thought of going the whole month is already a struggle (mentally, physically, spiritually) please contact us here at Addiction Behavioural Consultants; we have our "Solo Days" arranged specially on Saturdays in January between 10 am and 4 pm. Priced at £47.50 per person, our bespoke  workshops  give you the thinking time and diversionary group work (carrying out light conservation tasks, experiencing shoulder-to-shoulder learning with others) that can make all the difference.

Why?

We know that Excessive or binge drinking can lead to problems: dependent drinking patterns, weight gain, high blood-pressure, and high cholesterol. It also impairs your sleeping patterns and increases the risk of certain diseases, including cancer, heart disease and liver problems.

The problem is that completing a one-month vow of abstinence from drinking on its own won't necessarily turn back the clock.  In fact, feeling it makes it acceptable to drink as much as you want for the rest of the year can make things worse rather than better. So it's important to take time to consider why you're taking a break from drinking this month; could you extend this period with support from us at ABC for real benefits?

Dates available - 20th January 10 am to 4 pm.
                             27th January 10 am to 4 pm.

All monies we raise go to providing these workshops for others in the future and key environmental and conservation goals that you'll see more of on your "Solo Day".
