Solo Day.

I have spent a day at Lime Tree Farm on my first solo day. What this place has done for me was, to take me away from phones, computers, arguments, traffic, and above all everyday life.

The nature reserve was a special place where I found inner peace with some light meditation and good old Mother Nature. Birds were singing and Lambs were dancing in the spring sunshine.

I planted a mighty oak tree next to the stone circle. I helped mend tables for a poly tunnel to be installed on the farm, a place to grow food. I found a great space where Kieran can just be Kieran an absolutely brilliant place to visit to relax and just be yourself.

Iliop (Lazy Sheepdog)

I know my motives

and they're far from pure -

The lengths I will go to

for a pat on the head.

And then there's you -

you, with your pure indifference

and your thousand words for soil

Reminding me

that real art 

is its own reward

And that I have created none.

But oh!

I am grateful for the lesson,

for the knowledge of the destination

and the chance 

to be on my way.

Solo Day enjoyed...

This weekend's Solo Day enjoyed by all, saw us watching the sheep being herded up and taken over the Ghyll bottom. The weather was mixed, fresh, and sunny, all in all a perfect Solo Day.

Hi, it is with great pleasure that from all of us at ABC to have  announced a commendation from the countryside alliance 2018 out of 11,000 businesses we found ourselves in the last 4 in the north of England and would like to thank every one for supporting this nomination.

We have enjoyed doing our much valued work with individuals and groups to carry out conservation work with our Solo Days and Time and Space retreats to enrich the lives of our participants  at Earth and Sky at Lime tree Farm for 2017 - 2018 and would like to thank Pete and Irene for allowing us to have such an opportunity to work holistically through mindfulness and meditation with nature at Lime Tree Farm to help to conserve this truly remarkable place and thank them again for the hospitality they have shown to members of the ABC team over the years. 

We have set new dates for any like minded individuals to come to experience our wonderful Solo Days and invigorating weekends that varies due to the great British weather as we progress with our plans to fund raise and build a tree house as our shared goal a place to come and truly reflect on your own life.

The Time and Space retreat is £125 per person.
The price includes camping fees and all meals onsite.
Please bring a tent and waterproofs,a sleeping bag and a change of clothing and suitable footwear.

The Solo day is £47.50 per person and includes a fabulous lunch.
