ABC NOTICE BOARD: Solo Day enjoyed...

This weekend's Solo Day enjoyed by all, saw us watching the sheep being herded up and taken over the Ghyll bottom. The weather was mixed, fresh, and sunny, all in all a perfect Solo Day.

WHAT WE DO.

We all live increasingly busy lives and we need time-out to stand still, regroup and take stock of the essential aspects of our lives.

Our ‘SOLO One-Day Programme provides an opportunity to recharge and reconnect through the experience of nature and the elements with other like minded individuals.

ABC SOLO DAY Programmes run from 10am until 4pm. It has a primary focus on building individual skills in meditation and increasing mindfulness through conservation work.

It is ideal for those new to mindfulness practice, wanting to learn more. We believe it is ideal for professionals ‘needing a break’, and is available to any one from any stressful workplace situation. Professional’s from health and social care roles currently attend, wanting to understand more about rehabilitation programmes. However our courses are available to anyone from any background and especially for those with a general interest in mindfulness techniques.

We have two programmes available, each providing a different level of intervention. The SOLO DAY day as mentioned; and our TIME AND SPACE RETREAT, which is a full weekend retreat. Each draws on evidence-based material including Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is delivered by our highly experienced staff team with over thirty years experience in rehabilitation programmes mediation and mindfulness.

We have bespoke programmes based upon your own individual needs and can be viewed at our ABC site.

This valuable time out from the stresses and strains of life is so rewarding, for those wanting to experience peace whilst in nature but not to far into the wild.

We believe this practical work on your own consciousness with other like minded people, from diverse backgrounds, will improve your empirical knowledge of being in the here and now and may enhance your life and the lives of others as a result.
